Re: Ep2 running b18c
K20A3 was only produced in the North America. The Ep2 for the EDM was powered by a D16 (single). The Ep1 was powered by a d14 (single). Ep4 was powered by a 1.7 Turbo Diesel. They had a conversion kit for a b series motor like all older single cam cars. Due to having the shifter on the dash, they had to have a custom shift linkage for the ep2 which why he stated it being a nightmare.
Don't call someone a newb when you don't even have the correct info.

Re: Ep2 running b18c
I'm on ephatch and k20a.org thank you very much. I joined for the Texas meets. Stick with the singles. I just know my car chassis history (ep3)

Re: Ep2 running b18c
Because I read about it in an article. I don't live in ukdm so I didn't keep the information source. It was a quick read through when I bought my ep3. I'm not going to search through the ukdm sites to prove you wrong. At least I know what Im talking about. They had k20a3s in the ukdm HA that was false information from the blind.

Re: Ep2 running b18c
Alright a 4g63t is the same motor that is in the older eclipses and older evos. Except one runs a dsm 14b turbo and the other one has a 16g turbo. Wow kill me already. A b18c is a major upgrade to a ep2 from the d16z. If they wanted a k series they would get a ep3r (k20a2).
