He already ran all the crap gas threw it, he is on fresh fuel now.

But yes, run that **** threw your mower. Those things never seem to care.

I didn't catch it: Does it run now (even badly)?

Car runs fine when cold engine. Once its warmed up wants to die unless I keep rpm above 2000.

Bet you won't be doing that again... why in the hell would anyone put 5 year old gas in their car? I wouldn't put gas that old in my $200 weed eater...

I don't think its fuel filter since car runs good when its cold. Problem start when engine warms up.

How long does it take to warm up? Does your radiator fan kick on? If it runs cold, and not hot, it may be over-heating for some reason.

Car does not overheat. It takes normal time to warm up.

Then you possibly have a bad valve seal on that cylinder...

What's the diagnosis technique to tell if it's the valve, or the hg? Just pull the head?

Cylinder leakdown test would be the best chance to distinguish.

Could you tell me how to do leakdown test?
Also I think there might be carbon built up. Is there any way I could clean it without taking out head?

You need to either make or buy a leak down tester... You pressurize the cylinder with compressed air and turn the cam until all valves are closed... The guage will measure the amount of loss. You then listen at the intake, exhaust, and crank for the hissing sound... That is where you are losing compression. You can use seafoam on a dripper and let the intake slowly suck it in, but doing too much at once may ruin your piston rings if it's a higher mileage motor. You can also try adjusting your valve lash

Do you think if too much carbon is build up compression test would fail? Would seafoam work?
