I searched everywhere but I couldn't find anything on this. I was told if you put a pickle in your gas tank you can make some pretty good numbers. I tried it last week, but I didn't have time to dyno it before my car was stolen, and now I'm afraid I'll never know the truth.
Ps I think this should be a sticky.

its slightly true. I run my car solely on pickle juice and my butt dyno says i make about 300 hp.

When I was driving my delorean I accidentally went back in time to 1885 and tried using whiskey in the gas tank but it blew out the fuel pump. Probably should have used pickles instead.

I see an epic fail thread in the future, is this a joke? I heard if you add a pickle to the HHO canister making your hydrogen you get crazy fuel mileage. It does something to the space time continuum, but I also head it's bad for the warp drive. you need to be careful putting your pickle in there though, if it were to get stuck, it would be horribly embarrassing having the fire department have to remove the fuel filler neck from the car, one slip of the jaws of life too close and it would be all over, if they could stop laughing long enough

just don't add an "additive" to the tank while your pickle is in there, of course you would have to be a pretty sick puppy to do that, and get off that way , but you are the one talking about pickles in gas tanks

i heard the trick for max hp was to add salt, sugar and sand.. apparently the correct mixture will boost octane levels

um, letting us know someone put a pickle in your tank is a little too much information, i guess people are into stranger things though, I would have thought your tank would hurt from having a pickle in it though. sorry you walked right into that one, fell off the cliff into that one as a matter of fact
