Default teggy swap?

okay i know where the threads are for the manual auto swap. but i was wondering what tranny would be the best route to go with? this is a 1999 Acura integra that i believe is a LS. its an auto but its going out has about 99k miles. its gunna be a DD commute car. it has 17's full exhaust intake suspension aero and other doodads. which will probably be coming off. i wanna keep it inexpensive and reliable and be getting good MPG since my desert truck gets bad MPG lol. Or should i just stick with auto? i have no plans to make this car a speed demon until i finish my truck and find a place closer to work since i would need to commute about 25miles each day. maybe later on get a Jackson racing super charger...something CARB/Smog legal.

Also car has a problem with the headlights not turning on. just the halo ring around them. owner didn't let me check since it was dark but what could it besides a fuse? i think its a fuse though will find out today. also where is the OBD2 port? i want to hook up my scanner to check the codes and clear them. thanks!!!

If MPG is what your looking for than you'll want it 5spd.

Kind of shiesty the owner wouldn't let u check fuses

yup MPG and since the tranny is going south and a rebuild would cost in the lower thousands i think getting a 5spd would be a better idearrr. waht cars can i get trannies from? just ls integras? naw not shiesty i know the owner she is my cousins GF. she just didnt want me making a raquet looking the car over (pretty late at night). cuz once i go into trouble shooting mode there aint no stoppin me! lol. any help finding the OBD2 that way i can go straight there tomorrow. didnt get a chance today i was burning the midnight oil at work but hey Over time will speed things up on this haha.

okay test drove the car tonigh and its not the tranny. tranny is fine the car seems to be bogging out of the hole. because once it gets up and running its perky but seems to be lacking power. my cousins GF said there were three codes but i only pulled one;
it was a P1362 Manufacture control ignition system or misfire but i looked at the ECU codes and p1362 is actually;
P1362 Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor A (Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor) No Signal
P1362 Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor No Signal

so are those part of the ignition? and would they be easy to change out? i have the clymer repair manual on the way from the library. other then that car just needs a basic tune up (batt charged, oil and filter, plugs wire and rotor cap, stock exhaust and intake or CARB approved equivalents) to be stripped off all ricer doodads and have all the gay wiring redone and the headlights fixed and changed out to some stock ones (With HIDS unless i can save these "angle eye" type ones) and get the hideous body kit off and replace it with stock skirts and an ITR lip. so any help would be cool. anyone around the area with the know how? thanks!

okay so i figured from the searching that it has to do with either a sensor behind the timing belt cover or the actually dizzy itself. Found one at autozone its like 230. should i replace that or is there a way to check to make sure the dizzy is okay? dont want to dump 230 smackers if it isnt what the problem is.

TDC is located in the distributor. CFk sensor is located by the oil pump

To answer your first question; seems like you want LS tranny, if you are looking gor good gas milage. Longer gears, lower rpm=good gas milage.
