welcome to the world of hondas lol
well you could be having something dragging under your car, your struts could be bad or hitting something. your axles could be going bad i know mine made clunking noises when i hit bumps. but just put the car on jack stands and see how its looking under the car youll never know unless you look at it yourself. if you bring it to a shop they could say there are lots of things wrong with your car just so they get paid

Re: clunking noise with new eibach sportlines with eibach shocks?
the shocks are brand new as well as the springs
i hit a bump last night and heard like a "ping" noise coming from the front shock
i thought the freakin spring was going to come flying through the hood...
dunnno wtf the deal is
teh suspension is stiff other wise i can tell the shocks are doing there job but i dunno what all these noises are
im thinking maybe they didnt put in the bumpstops?

if I were you and I just paid someone to put stuff on my vehicle. And it made freaken stupid noises,
I'd take it right back to them and demand that they look and see if they did something wrong.
hurry up and get there. good luck.

yeah, and you must have missed the part where they phucked the car up. haha.
It doesn't matter, they're liable. They put hands on a car and messed it up. their fault.
they didn't charge accordingly. their fault.
I'd also be smiling driving off knowing I didn't pay them , til I heard those noises.
maybe they didn't charge you because they broke stuff. ever thought of that???
its worked so far. you won't even take it back to them because you think you got one up on them, when maybe they screwed you.....

You're going to hear clunking noises when your car is slammed on oem struts. Thats the sound of your struts bottoming out. Also, look up the price of an end link they sell for about $40-$45 each.

To correct anyone: he says he got springs and shocks.
NOT using stock shocks...
But it sounds like they stole your new shocks and left your shitty oem shocks in, that's why they are bottoming out/making that noise.
Something doesn't add up here.....

eibach springs are a pretty good match for stock shocks, they only lower the car about 1.5 inches...the clunking may be a loose bolt, worn bushing or old ball joint that is shitting the bed with the new suspension geometry.

[QUOTE=eg6.merrill;44251925]
dude no way did they steal my shocks
but yes at first i was skeptical as **** because i thought they stole everything and didnt put ANYTHING in.
so i checked and sure enough the red eibach sportlines springs are in and so are the black eibach shocks that came with the kit.
i can feel the shocks working because before i was lowered on pro kit for like 4 years with stock shocks and there were all blown out..the car has 117k on it with the eibach pro kit and stock shocks so im telling you the new shocks and springs are definately in there not to mention the car is sitting lower.
either way i dont trust mavis but i had no choice..no way in hell i can afford like 600 dollars for a mechanic to jerk me around to install freaking struts. i drove the car around and the noises arent even that bad anymore only if you hit like potholes and such otherwise its stiff feels fine but still clunks when u hit nasty *** bumps but the roads suck here anyway.
