Default H-motors online

So ive noticed alot of people it seems here on hondatech purchase their swaps from H-motors online? Theyre a credible shop? They also advertise all their swaps are around 35k miles? Thats really low...u guys think that is accurate? What are some experiences?

I got my b16a from them. It went in without a problem. the only thing i would suggest is that you wake sure that the timing is set right mine was off a little bit. But i have had my engine for about a year now and have put on about 8000 miles on it without any sirous problems. You know the usual **** that happens when u beat the engine.

If i have a ls aftermarket catback exhaust, and i drop in a 94-99 gsr what will i have to do to make it work? I know that exhausts are interchangeable with 94-01 ls/gs/rs and 00-01 gsr's, but is the 94-99 gsr shorter than my 2000 LS or longer?

I bought my 96 JDM SiR-G (B18C aka JDM Gs-R) from HMotors earlier this year and the motor is strong as hell. My motor came with documentation stating it had 47,000 miles on it so the 35k is an average. My motor hasn't lost a drop of oil since i put it in 4 thousand miles ago (Royal Purple synthetic so I don't have to change until 5k miles just so I don't get any comments about needing and oil change) and I get 29MPG with mixed driving. Customer services was also great and the shipping company was flexible as well. I wouldn't even think to buy from anywhere else.

The only problem whatsoever was the MAP sensor that came with the motor was bad and when I started the car it was literally spitting gas out the exhaust until I swapped MAP sensors. Once I put the MAP sensor from my old B18C1 the car was off and rolling.

you guys better be changing the timing belts on these motors when you get them. even a 2001 motor is right at the 10 year mark which regardless of mileage is time for a change.

as for hmotors, his gsr deals are inline, deals on random parts are good and itr swaps are on the higher end of what the market will support. the ctr/itr stuff is the only place i think he's overpriced.

I got my 98 B18c-R from them. It still runs like a bat out of hell, and Ive put about 25,xxx miles on it since the purchase. Nothing has gone wrong with the engine at all. Did the Tbelt and waterpump, and checked valves when I got it. Head still looks brand new inside. The only problem is it ate both my GSR axles and the motor mounts. LOL.
The full swap was like $6k (good price back then) with a ton of extra ****. 36mm axles, ITR linkage, one Recaro seat, couple ecu's, and some other nick nacks. Went down there and saw my donar ITR in person before getting it to make sure I got my money's worth. I won't go anywhere else....
