Default fuel pump does not turn on

i have a 97 gsr and it was working until one day i went to go start it and the brand new fuel pump wont prime.
i put the old one back in and it still wont prime ,checked all fuse and relays still nothing, then i ran a wire from the battery and it prime but engine still wont start???? now im stumped and need help all ready checked the main relay

"Checked"? Or replaced?

The main relay controls power to the ECU in addition to the fuel pump. Bad main relay = no fuel injection.

Actually the PGM-FI Main Relay supplies power to the fuel pump, [fuel pump relay] the fuel injectors, [injector relay] and power to a few engine valve/solenoids and a 12V+ "signal" to the ECU/ECM, [injector relay] although the result is the same, "Bad main relay = no fuel injection"

The PGM-FI Main Relay is a common problem on Honda/Acura but in many cases, easly fixed...
