Default oil in intake manifold ?

i swapped out my stock gsr intake manifold this last weekend for a blox intake manifold. well i had the stock im sitting on the flange and when i went to pick up the intake manifold, there was a big puddle of oil where the intake manifold was sitting. is this normal? i noticed runner 3 and 4 had oil running down them too. Just wondering what would cause this? and how to fix it. I'm thinking this is why my car smokes in vtec.

lots of blow by. the pcv and valve cover breather are venting that stuff back into the manifold like they're designed to. Do a leak down test to check the motor's health.

X2 sounds like the culprit. Maybe rings aren't sealing tight?

i'd say it was about a 1/4 quart. maybe a little less, i was pretty shocked myself. pretty much where i set the im, there was a puddle. i was thinking maybe the pcv valve is stuck open or something. i replaced it with a new one.

did a compression test and leak down test.
comp. 205-200-205-200

leak down test was at like 7-8% on cylinder 1 and 2, then about 10% on cylinder 3 and 4, i could hear air leaking in the head slightly on all the cylinders which i think maybe valveseals.

i think maybe the pcv valve was stuck or something, but i replaced it so hopefully when it gets warmer out, we'll see if it still smokes in vtec. right now i'm barely using 1/4 of a quart a month driving 40+ miles a day normally, if i get on it alot, then i use almost half a quart a month.
