CRX Glass Top Install
I've been researching as much as I can, but I still have just a few q's.
If I ordered a cut roof glass top with only the headliner, no trim pieces around, could I use my USDM Si ones?
Whats the best way to install it? Layer it on top of a edge left by the old roof?
Should I weld it or use adhesive?
Whats the typical price of a cut roof?

Re: CRX Glass Top Install
for a proper install, you should drill the spot welds off and remove it that way. theres a how to somewhere but its late and im lazy. but say no to cut/weld.
youd have to remove the windshield in order for this procedure to happen. goodluck.

What I'm looking at.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
$500 for roof plus $250 shipping to Canada from NorCal (I'm super close to Seattle).

Long *** read so in a nutshell he says (and all of his friends lol)...
-Buy the bulk roof
-Get the glass professionally removed
-Drill out the welds of the glass top frame to seperate it from the bulk
-Cut your roof leaving about a 1.5" ledge from the channels to align the new frame on
-Weld and/or use adhesive to stick the frame on
-Put glass on and check for leaks

Re: CRX Glass Top Install
My car is a Si so I do have the sunroof right now but its rusty and it probably needs a seal soon. I figured I'd get rid of thoes problems with a glass top.

As cool as it is. I think it would be cooler to take a civic si 03 or 04 sunroof and put it in the crx. that way you got a glass top and it moves too so you can open it.
