Default cherry bombed b16?

anyone ever hear a cherry bomb muffler combined with a resonator on a b16 motor? looking for a quick fix and a small diameter muffler is needed. less than 4" would be perfect. looking at magnaflows on summitracing.com also.

I have put them on all types of cars. They always sound like crap until you "burn them out".

What are you getting At OP?

Will it work? Yes.
Will it make noise? Yes.
Will it be new and shiney? Yes.
Will it be able to be welded? Yes.
Will it be able to be clamped? Yes.
Will it make your car mAd JDM? Hell NO!

Just WTF are you trying to get at?

Sorry fellas, let me explain. was at work and posted this on my phone, was super busy at the time. Anyway, I could care less how cool this muffler makes me. The car isn't entering any car shows and no one is going to get on their hands and knees and say, shit dude, thats a dope ass gangster pipe you gots on there. My car is only running a cat and resonator right now. I cut the exhaust at the lower control arm because the tail pipe - muffler weld broke. I can't remember the last time the car has seen vtec because she screams. My thought is to get something in between the cat and resonator. Ghetto, yes. Good for now? Thats my question. If it sounds like complete shit and I'll be wasting my time, screw it. I don't want to waste my time and money. If it will be quiter than what I'm running and i don't sound like a tool driving down the road, like i do now, why not?... Any thoughts? There's a lot of half-assing that goes on in these threads, and lots of empty pockets. Just hit two deer with my brand new truck which i haven't even gotten my first payment paid yet. Not about to spend 500, even 300 on some dope ass jdm shit. werd? Sorry for the lack of information on my original post. My fault..

Hmm. Why not just get a stock muffler from a wrecking yard?

Sucks about your truck.

i could possibly do that, if i could find one. I know where there are a couple, but they're almost buried in the ground from the years that have passed! haha, there's probably nothing left of them. Plus, I need something with a small diameter to fit in the space between the cat and the resonator on that straight section. you know? if i was thinking clearly instead of being a jackass and saying, hey that would be cool...i would have just cut the muffler out itself and put a normal sized one inplace of the old fart can. It was welded there before and who ever did it did a shit job. It's a crappy exhaust anyway, I don't think putting in a cherry bomb will make it necessarily worse lmao. I know they're usually used on american made cars, but if it fits and sounds ok...?

I have two inline on my rex and it sounds great.
Just one with the resonator will be loud.

The real problem is that you bought a Ford instead of a Chevy.
Get to the root of the problem and stop trying to beat around the bush by putting a cherry bomb on your Honda.

I used like a 28" resonator on my last crap muffler shop exhaust. Sounded pretty good. Tried a cherry bomb once and it was complete garbage.

Sucks for those deer. lol.

I have a cherry bomb on my car.
I got the header goin out to a 2.5 magnaflow high flow cat
That out to just pipe and my cherry bomb is where the muffler was.
I think its a 24 inch? Dont know anymore.. lol
Welded and it sounds pretty beefy to everyone I chill with.
Everyone I talk to says it doesnt even sound like a honda.

And I chill with ppl with 'Stangs, Type R's, Eg's, Evo's, Etc,....
Just for the record. lol.

I had high comp B16A2 in my EG with a Hytech header to 2.5" piping to a hollow cat, one resonator, and a Magnaflow...AWESOME sound. Pretty deep sound, switching over to awesomeness in VTEC. Medium volume, not very loud or quiet. The muffler itself was only around $100

Cheery bombs are for rednecks

Kteller.com for all your cheap exhaust needs B16 is fine with 2.5" in/out straight thru muffler and piping from the header back

24" straight through resonator will reduce rasp but a quality 2.5" in/out muffler should cut down on the rasp to reasonable levels

Schucks cherry bomb garbage should be left to the 'derMeztIc" crowd...even on 55 chevys it sounds gay (glass packs etc..)
