any truth to this?
Quicker than an Si? No. The Si's final drive is slightly shorter = better acceleration.

The EX is slightly different than the Si tranny.

DX/LX = 3.88 final drive
EX = 4.0 final drive
Si = 4.25 final drive

All have the same gearing just with their own final drives.

no its not rattle can primered the core support cause im pulling the engine and primering the bay as well i like the phaze2 eg bay kinda wanted to try something like that and as for the masking... i have new plastics those ones were already cracked so i thought to hell with it.... and the windshield is no good either.. i actually had the whole front end off and primered it the reason for the under side of the hood for having primer on it was because when the hood was shut you could see the red through the lift i wanted to get rid of that for now as this is my daily driver.

if the car gonna be all primed gray its gonna look like my car from back in the days!

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...sunset_032.jpg

ahah, nice progress. take the time to mask everything off, cause you'll never when things dont go as planned and then your stuck with what you have on the car and gonna have to back track and clean up all the over spray. only say this cause i made that mistake haha.

i think im going to try the roll on, i have an air gun and compressor and shit but i've never used it i'd rather roll on and be sure you know? would rather only have to do this once.

i was thinking about doing white with black hood, roof, and trunk lid (panda) not sure though

if you do the roll on, better have alot of patients! sand in between every 2 coats and final sand the last and polish.

i once did the panda on my car then i repainted it back to smoke gray!

before laying down the paint, final wet sand with some 400g. lay 1st/2nd wet sand 400g. 3rd/4th wet sand 600g, 5th/6th wet sand lightly with 800, 1k, 1.5k, 2k then polish.

i only went up to 5 coats and no sanding at all
