That may fix it too since there's a blue wire inside the distributor which is the RPM wire. So try the B1 dizzy and see if it'll fix your problem. F22B1's are internal; not external like the B2.

did he tell you anything about it having 2 step, the rev limiter of 35000 sounds like a 2 stage, which you can adjust to where you want to launch, you should look into that
