my rpf1's are 17x9 +45 and they are fine on regular Si calipers. I also picked 235/45 tires and they're slightly bigger than i wanted them to be (not sure WTFFFFFF i was thinking), and i was trying to fill up some wheel well on stock suspension. This was accomplished pretty well but i think i will ditch that idea when it comes time for new tires, and just lessen that gap with a good suspension.

you can get a good side view, and decent "gap" view with this pic:

i plan on going with the same amount of side-wall as stock tires (i think stocks were 215/45?)

45% of 215 is 97 (rounded)

i like that stock amount of wheel well, and i'm happy with the tire width of 235, SO

97 is ~40% of 235

i'd go from my 235/45's to 235/40's. that's just my opinion though :O

maybe someone with those dimensions can chime in with madddddd picssssssss

235/40 is a good size for 17x9. theres a habi on this page with rpf1 on that size you're looking for here. post #1941.

im considering buy 15mm spacers for my front wheels to have a wider wheel base and so i can hit some gymkhana.

btw guys be careful of OE center caps on RPF1's. i've lost 3/4 of mine in the canyons. 1 during the run, 1 after the run, and i think someone stole 1 of my rear ones lol bitches. so i took my last forth one off

I have one question if u guys can help me out that would be great. When i turn off my headlights (after the retro) i hear a crackling/popping sound coming from the front speaker (i think its the left one). Does anyone know what can cause this and how to get rid of it. Its pretty loud and annoying.
Edit: Im running 85122+ phillip bulbs with oem matsushita gen 3 ballasts if it matters. thanx
