Thanks for the helpful info and pics Ben850. I am leaning towards the 17x9 +45 set up now. What would your tire size choice be next time?

45% of 215 is 97 (rounded) i like that stock amount of wheel well, and i'm happy with the tire width of 235, SO 97 is ~40% of 235 i'd go from my 235/45's to 235/40's. that's just my opinion though :O maybe someone with those dimensions can chime in with madddddd picssssssss

235/40 is a good size for 17x9. theres a habi on this page with rpf1 on that size you're looking for here. post #1941.

I do not think rpf1's come in +30 mm for a 17 x 9. Correct me if I am wrong.

i hate my 45 offset so much lol
im considering buy 15mm spacers for my front wheels to have a wider wheel base and so i can hit some gymkhana. functional stagger ftw but i might just wait to get my new wheels before anything.

cars look awsome guys! I'll post some pictures up if i wash my car this wknd. I just finished my retro aswell...
I have one question if u guys can help me out that would be great. When i turn off my headlights (after the retro) i hear a crackling/popping sound coming from the front speaker (i think its the left one). Does anyone know what can cause this and how to get rid of it. Its pretty loud and annoying. Edit: Im running 85122+ phillip bulbs with oem matsushita gen 3 ballasts if it matters. thanx Last edited by XkjeldorX; 11-04-2009 at 07:49 PM. |
