I assume you're talking about the trigger wheel. The magnetic trigger is also called a reluctor.

What year is your car? 97+ only has the one tooth CYP sensor in the distributor and it looks pretty empty.

Comparied to an OBD1 distributor:

You need to give more information about the problem. Are you getting a CEL? Is it sputtering, or not even catching.

EDIT: Well, the retarded message translator translates some of the characters in the second link to a smiley face, so it doesn't work. It'll take you to the picture index, though and you can find the picture old-dissy1.jpg.

What are you talking about? You mean you don't even have the single wheel at all? You should only have the single 1 tooth wheel in your H22a4 distributor. The other 2 magnetic triggers have moved to the crank in the H22a4.

i believe you ahve an OBD-2 distributor........i think they only have 1 reluctor in the distributor........OBD-1 has more because the crank position sensor is in the distributor too. i do have one laying around if you want it. i will let you have it really cheap. let me dig it up and get a pic for you.........if your interested. let me know. thanks

Please post when you figure out what the problem is!
Maybe you can look around the transmission... maybe the piece fell out there.
