I agree with steve that hauling ass threw traffic is stupid and dangerous. I'm not a stupid little rice-boy but i am a teenager that used to think he was 5'11 and bullet proof. a few months ago i was hauling ass down one of the major highways that goes threw Dallas, TX. I had a tire blow out while i was doing 110 threw traffic. I ended up flipping my Prelude 2 times and then rapping it around a tree. I realize how stupid that was of me and i'm lucky i didn't kill myself and a few other people in the process. It's just not worth it to do that. I had to be cut out of my car so that rescue personel could get to me. I broke my left arm, 6 ribs, had a bottle cap size peice of glass embedded in the back of my head and a concussion. If someone else had been with me they'd be dead. I haven't done over 75 mph on any road since then. and it just sucks that i had to learn my lesson that way.

this whole thread started because I decided to top out my car on an open stretch of road........... I didnt think there would be arguments goin on.......... The question just stated, have anyone top out there s2000....... All I needed was just an answer...... Yes (how fast) ...No (cuz ur crazy) I really dont recommend people to go balls out on the highway, but I already did it and Im sure there are other that have done it too........

I don't know about a s2000, but a buddy of mine in a boosted civic hatch using an LS transmission hit 150mph at 6000rpms and only got off of it because there was no point in going any faster.

Possibly, testing waters for it to sell or trade for a BMW. Either higher mileage E46 M3 or 330Ci plus cash on top.
