Default how do i use the memory button on my seat

i have a 95 honda prelude and on the drivers seat there is a button that says "memory" i was wondering how do i use this. i have tryed holding it and putting my seat in a postion and then releasing it but nothing happens. i tried putting my seat in a postion and pressing the button but nothing happens. so what is this button used for and how do i use it? thanks for any help

Hmmm.....iirc it keeps your place on the recline for when you flip the seat forward.

Yup.

Get the seat in the position you like. Press 'Memory'. Next time you flip the seat forward to put something in the backseat it will click back to the 'Memory' position when you put the seat back again.
