this thread is gay....its "hood tilt" not hood slant...it for cars that need the hood to be lifted because the motor needs clearance in the engine bay...dont do it because it looks hella jdm...so i wont tell u what u need to tilt your hood hahahahahahahahahaha

So as the others said...longer 10mm bolts and some washers will raise your hood. just be sure to get some high grade bolts, my friends tried it with some shitty ones and ended up breaking a few of the heads off in their hoods =P
It does have a purpose besides making clearance for some engines. it will pull air in over the intake manifold (for b d and h) and cold air of the exhaust for a K, and keep engine temps down slighly. i did it to my old eg and i did notice a difference in temperature on the freeways.
