Bubbles in motor oil (Dipstick)
Is this somthing I should be concerned about. I checked the oil in my car after its been driven and I see very small bubbles in my oil on the dipstick. Almost microscopic. And its not the foamy, milky substance associated with water in the oil or a blown headgasket. Anyone have a clue what is causing this?

Re: Bubbles in motor oil (Dipstick)
Lots of bubbles can mean you have overfilled your oil. Make sure your level is correct. It's rare for the oil pump to fail and if it did it probably wouldn't work at all and your oil light would come on. Small bubbles are normal, so I wouldn't worry too much.
