Tweeter works but mid range doesn't
I recently installed a Pioneer FH-P800BT head unit in my 97 Integra GSR and noticed that my front left mid range speaker doesn’t work. The weird thing the front left tweeter still works so the head unit wiring must be correct. It’s possible that the speaker never worked, and I just never noticed it until the new head unit was installed, but I don’t know. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong?

Re: (audioroach)
yea i do believe the speaker and tweeter in door are wired in parallel, you can either try another speaker, if that doesn't work then you have a broken connection in your speaker wire, or you can just simply pull the speaker out, test it with an ohm meter, you should read 4.0 ohms ± .4, if you do not read this then the speakers is no good, could be burned up coil. i have seen people before put aftermarket speakers in doors before and because of the speaker to window clearance, the window would go all the way down and break the wire or pull it loose.
