Are you having any issues with it shifting at all or anything like that?

I know alot of the odysseys/ accords (v6) of your year and newer are also having problems with the transmissions and are throwing the p0730 code and others that are related.

I thought there was an extended warranty issued for the v6 accord for the transmission... you may want to double check (you may not still be elidgable) but agian alot of people are having similar issues (accord, odyssey, etc... v6) with these and rumor has it there is a class action agians honda over this.

I am not having a problems with shifting, however when the vehicle is cold the transmission races while in drive. When the vehicle heats up the problem is not as severe. I will check on that extended warranty.

If a new transmission is needed what is the basic price$$

Thank in advance

the RPM is supposed to be high on a cold start, if you put your car into drive right after a cold start without letting it warm up. it rolls alot faster rather than when its warmed up. pretty normal.

Couldn't it even be the differential if its showing an incorrect gear ratio?
