Pump relay trigger wire
Hi guys. My car is close to finished so now I need to finish wiring the 50 amp for my pumps. My question is could anybody tell me which wire in this plug I should use to trigger the relay? I tried using a multimeter from the ecu pin but did not get signal from either pin. I believe the battery may need to b in for the relay to trigger n the wire to get signal. But I still need to finish some wiring before I can put the battery in. Thanks mike

Re: Pump relay trigger wire
Yellow green is the power to the fuel pump assuming this is 96 plus
Ecu sends ground signal to main relay, relay gives voltage to fuel pump. fuel pump is grounded to chassis.
you can use the ground from the ecu (a16) to your relay. Actually that's the only way since the point is to draw more current to the pumps.

Wantboost-I figured since there was a relay the car had to have power. If there wasn't a relay in between u can check for continuity from the pin to the plug in the back, without power, which is what I was trying to do.
