i just ordered the pulstar they geined 2.9 in the si in the power pages and they made similar geins in other cars. basically the bigger the engine the more power they will add. or if its FI. but i talked 2 someone on my other forum who has them and he said his car idles way smother and there isn't any low end bog ever anymore. so i figured why the [freak] now. i'll let u know the outcome when i get them.

are you using a pryer and a dial gauge? just buy a five dollar wire gauge, they are more accurate and most of them have the hook thingie to pull out ground tip(which make gapping plug a five second job)

I have a set of feeler guages I used to test them with. I just used a set of plyers on the ground strap, as you can't really pry on the tip it will break.

lol been on this dam site for the longest and cant quote. that is the demise of me. hes a mechanic he cant spell i know him. he just works on jet engines so its all good. when i see a proven dyno then maybe id get some and it depends on hwo long they last too

Denso's have known to suck very badly in our cars. I've read, even Denso themselves does not recommend their Iridium plugs in the S2000. I think there are like 3 cases of broken tips and blown motors on s2ki. Their Iridium replacement plug is IK24's V9110-5311.
The S2000 uses the same exact plug as the stock ITR.
Stock plug is Platinum and is NGK PFR7G-11S (do not re-gap)(stock# 7772)

El Gato Negro PM'ed me asking for a response, so here it is.
I got this information off another website devoted to the S2000, s2ki. There were numerous reports of the failures and one of the users had contacted Denso directly and was told they were not recommended. I'm sorry but I have not been able to find the direct link where this user posted the info.
Here are two links where some have talked about the issues, I believe these post originated around a boosted car but I know there were other reports of issues with the plugs. You are welcome to do more research on that site if you need more info.

Hi. Just found this thread when looking for spark plugs for my S. My car was also a victim of the Denso Iridium failure... The tip of one plug broke and fell into the cylinder, causing scratches in the cylinder wall and engine failure... My car was stock at the moment, and it happened during normal highway cruising, actually.

The tuner (who tuned my new engine with AEM EMS), had also heard of and seen problems with Denso plugs. He had a Denso plug in his shop from a customer car, where the whole center/core had dropped from the metal (hex head). So now I'm going for NGK.

the stock heat range is 7 correct? why are some of you guys running 1 step colder plugs on stock motors?

We used the stock NGK PFR7G-11S on our s2000.

Stick to stock plugs in. Pull them out, make sure they are the factory nkg PFR7G-11S, make sure they are not worn, then put them back in and TORQUE THEM PROPERLY. A loose plug on this engine is catastropic. If the plugs have 85k or more, change them with factory plugs. Buy them at Honda.
Your idle issue are likely a sticking IAC valve.
