Default Help!!!! Brake piston won't go back in!!!

I can't get the front brake piston to go back in at all.
I opened the Master cylinder and pushed on it but that didn't work and i tried to turn the valve but it wouldn't move. I toke the rubber cap off and that didn't work.
What do I need to do to get the piston to go back in?

Just go buy a cheap *** c clamp, then put the old brake pad on the piston flat. And screw down the clamp on the brake pad and the caliper backside, this will push the piston back in with out any damage.

u dont need any special gay *** tools

That's how I've always done my brakes. Should work fine.

i haven't changed my front pads yet, but i did my rears, and the piston doesn't "push" in, it "turns" in. i took a pair of needle nose pliers and opened them up in the groove of the piston, and turned (clockwise, i think. that would make sense), and it went in. i tried using a c clamp and it didn't work. i would assume the fronts are the same way.

U are right about doing the rears, that way, but totally wrong for the fronts... teh front does not have any cross in the piston and does not screw in like the rears do. The fronts just need to be compressed in... i did my pads last week and i always use simple c clamps to recompress the piston, but not on top of the pads. I compress without the pad, then put the pad on... so i won't damage the surface of the pad.

Brake Pad Spreader

Big *** C clamp also works. Could also bleed the piston too

If so, you need a new caliper... The C-clamp or piston compressor pushes into the bottom of the hollow piston so it goes in straight.

mine has broken 3 of the biggest c clamps and we have bled the line. we don't really have the money to get the tool to do it. What could it be as to why it wont push back in?
