i bought cheap @SS accel plug wires before reviewing them and now a the black peice from the tip of the plug wire is stuck around the spark plug and its impossible to get out.

please help

A piece from the wire is stuck on the plug? Have you tried using needle nose pliers? Can you snap some pics of it?

With all honesty, throw the spark plug away. They cost a buck or 2 and you will end up buying new plug wires anyway... So it's not worth it..

They sell some long *** needle nose pliers, or maybe you can borrow some. Can you still fit the socket over the plug to take the plug out?

a deep socket wont fit over it?

the black rubber from the plug wire is stuck on the spark plug so no deep socket will fit over it

use a wire coat hanger and pull it up.. happened to a friends car and i got it out in about 5 min

tried that and a flat head screwdriver, no luck

that thing is really on there

I dont know man, maybe put some glue on the end of the wire and stick it down in there. Maybe when it dries, you can get it off the plug. There has to be an easier way.

lol just use long needle nose pliars. i hope you dont have to take the head off lol. i had a similar problem when my adaptor for my compression tester got stuck in the spark plug hole took me like 2 hours to figure it out.

that happend to me a couple of times... i used two long flat heads like they were cop sticks and i got it out

Is it only stuck to the tip of the spark plug? Cause maybe you can unscre the tip with some pliers?

Or you can also try the classifieds section, people take off their OEM wires for aftermarket ones all the time.

im having a similar situation, but you didnt post a picture so i can compare, take a look maybe someone on here can help me out,



heres my sparkplug, it looks nothing like the rest, i can see further down, so you said you put superglue? superglue on what>? the socket? and let it sit and try so u can just yank it out?

Long thin flathead screwdriver and/or super long thin pair of needle nose pliers. I've done it like that plenty of times with multiple engines. Coat hanger will also work as well.
