Sanctioning body: ICSCC (Conference)
Notes: Great battle with in-class and out-of-class cars for most of the race. This track doesn't give a driver a chance to rest. 400+ feet of elevation changes, a half-pipe, camber and off-camber corners, blind crests and 16 corners.. I love ORP.

Nicely set up pass on the e30. That track is very cool. They need to be ready to put out a grass fire at that place with all the brown grass around the track. A hot exhaust + off road excursion = grass fire. Ask me how I know.

Need to find my view of that. Fun drafting with you. If I was just a bit quicker over the lap I could have hung with the front runners. Meh. The car was quick all weekend though.

Class: Honda Challenge 1
Sanctioning body: NASA
Notes: NASA HPD Honda Challenge - Qualified first in class and 2nd overall. Started behind another class, worked my way up to the front following an awesome driver in Renan Bayar, and had a great time. Won the H1 class and overall. Buttonwillow 13CCW layout, qualified with 2:01.6 and race best lap was 2:02.6

Car:95 civic coupe
Class: Honda Challenge 1
Sanctioning body: NASA
Notes: NASA HPD Honda Challenge at Willow Springs Raceway. 20-30 mph winds made it tough but it was a fun race. I managed 1st in class and 1st overall Honda Challenge with a best lap of 1:33. Some aggressive passing and an action packed race. Here are some clips of the 30 min sprint race on 5-4-13.

Third works better overall. Against the RX7 we don't loose much. Had we been racing against something with low end grunt, it might have forced us to use 2nd but I doubt it.

The overlay is DashWare with a custom gauge I made to look like of like the one FOM uses for the F1 broadcasts.

Here is the short 8-lap race from this weekend: This is my first race weekend evar! Ended up 2nd overall, 2nd in class.
Track: Waterford Hills Road Course
Car: Triumph Spitfire
Class: F-Production
Sanctioning body: WHRII (SCCA Rulebook used)
Notes: Sunday Race... 2nd race of the weekend. First race started 7th, ended 4th. This race started 4th on grid and had a bad start... But ended up in 2nd at the finish line!
