few think they're good, many think they're crap. i agree with the latter. They might last as long as you're sensible and don't slam the car to the ground.

I see conflicting reviews with these. People that have them really like them and think they are great for the money. Some of those people do think they are not great but I'd say 95% of the people that owned them like them. However people that have never owned them think they are crap. On the suspension forum you this is the answer you will recieve, but if you go to the FF thread in the appearnce section with people that own them they say they are great. If you dont mess with preload they seem to be fine for daily. I would auto-x or race with them though.

I've had them on my last Integra. And I bought them brand new. They do ride really good for DD. I think the spring rates were 10k/8k?
Some think that's just obscure, but damn... I liked them.

Sick, I'm thinking of buying these too. For the price and for mainly DD use I'd get them. I've read MORE mixed reviews about the Skunk2's and Tein's then these. They're height adjustable from the bottom too which is pretty good too. Koni's are just too much for me right now but I would definatly pick those up if I had the money.

I have heard many good things about them. Ride quality is good and comfortable which is important on a DD. I am looking at these and the Progress set that is comparable... i tend to lean towards these because they are ride height adjustable rater than the fixed height of the progress coilovers.. Both seem to be complimented by ppl who own them.

I appreciate every ones input on the Function & Form Type 1 coilovers. I am fixing to purchase me a set tomorrow. I am going to use them as a daily driver, but I need some new shocks on my car and I think they will be a perfect fit for me.

Why not spend a few more dollars on something thats better and has a lifetime warranty on it? If you dropping your car low they wont last. Get something you can do just about anything with and have an amazing warranty.

It's a middle of the road coilover. There's much better and there's much worse. I considered these once way back when I was suspension ignorant but when I saw that most of the people running them were juveniles; easily influenced with no budget and prone to peer pressure that want their cars slammed, I passed. Never regretted it and have a superior product at the same price point.

I was also looking into some Function & Form type 1 for my ek hatch and keep seeing lots of mixed reviews. @Grumblemarc what is the superior product that you got for a similar price. Due to not having any prior personal experience with suspension setups, it's basically he said she said and just hoping that I gain enough knowledge in advance to end up making the right decision for my purchase. I am the type that would rather spend more now and have a better product for the long run rather than save money now and get something that doesn't last long or ride nice only to have to upgrade later on down the road. Thanks!

He is probably talking about the gc+koni setup most people run. Catch a sale and you get a great deal. I got my koni yellows for $499 which saved me alot and got my gc adjustable coil overs with custom spring rates for $340 i think. Then got the xtended top hats all around for $119 a pair so times that by 2 for front and rears so i made out pretty freakin awesome for under a grand. Of course you dont have to do the extended top hats thats only if you're droppin it low so thats $240 you can save unless you really need them. Gc+koni = a very nice suspension system with full lifetime warranty. Enuff said.

Ha he posted before me. Progress is a good company too and im hearing tons of good things about AMR.

I've had these in a crx si and my boosted eg hatch
I Autox both cars and it does good on a road coarse and as a daily
I mean they do ride rough but it's supposed to be stiffer
And for the people saying they won't hold up if you slam them
You all are idiots and haven't looked at the design of the coilover
You can't bottom out the strut on this coil
That's one reason why a true coilover setup is better then the ground control/koni setup
I'm not saying these are the best
But they are not the worst
Any coilover with this design you can slam as much as the adjuster allows as long as you aren't adjusting where the spring sits

The design of f&f coilovers are the same design as
BC, Megan, D2, bwr, emusa, Blox tuner and drag series.....etc

Point being these are all identical other them the tube designs and whether or not you can adjust the dampening and the spring rates

I've put these on two of my cars and I love them
They have lasted for over 2 years 35,000 miles

I don't personally have them, but people i know like them because you can slam your car.
I have D2 RS , and love them, but you can't slam these.
I likes my adjustable because i can soften my ride, and stiffen them when it rains for better traction....
Consider f/f for their reliability, and $ spent..
They carry a warranty, but heard their not very customer friendly...
Things to consider...

I am currently driving a UA5, and the F2s that I got rides completely like ****.. Every bump I hit, every time I'm driving down the highway it feels like I'm riding in a damn roller coaster. I don't think I messed with the dampers or if I got my car way too low, but it's bumpy.. Should I get a replacement to see if it would make a difference?
