I am in the market for an accord
I am new to this forum.
I need some advise.
Honda runs in my blood.
My first car was a 86 accord coupe. Than a 91 accord, than a 94 accord and finally 97 acura TL 2.5 that I had for 15 years. I just sold the TL yesterday and very soon I will buying a car.
I am in the market for an accord. I am thinking something like 2006 to 2010 or 2011 accord.
Can you tell me which year model is something I should be looking for? My budget is $15 k or I can stretch little more.

Use the Edmunds site to evaluate any given year -- very close to market value plus considers your zip code area.
Just test drove the 2012 Accord coupe: very nice, spacious interior, decent mpg, though noticeably wind noise when getting it on the highway. Comes right off the A-pillars.
Anyway, I know you're looking for an older one now, so get the Consumer Reports Auto Guide that just came out in April. Should still be one the newsstands. I bought mine a few days ago (as every year) and they have good comprehensive groupings of vehicles by cost & reliability.

A lot depends on what you are looking for. A LX is going give you a different experience than EX-L V6. Because you had a 2.5TL, I think you'll want something "nicer."
15K will buy you something like:
Examples:
1. 2004 Accord EX-L V6 average miles.
2. 2006 Accord I4 EX low miles.
3. 2008 Accord LX I4 average miles.
If you need size. 08+. If you like a bit smaller 06 or older. If V6 go with 08+. Other than that, it's a "Honda."
We can go over issues, and such. But, in the used car game, it's going to be more about the condition of the car, and luck.

Re: I am in the market for an accord
I am looking around.
I have 2 more payments on the van, so I was thinking of not rushing into buying, and meantime I can payoff the van as well.
