Default Megan EZ Street Coilovers

I just ordered a set of Megan EZ street coilovers, I was wondering if anyone here had experience with these coils?

It was an impulse by, But I've heard these coils are a great start to something greater?

Lemme know

Megan is just another eBay company that managed to rise just a wee bit higher. If you can, get your money back, and get something better. Koni Yellows with Ground Control springs are a good, inexpensive option for a performance suspension. Personally, I have a set of Function Form Type 1's and love them, but they get mixed reviews.

Yeah, I had a bunch of mixed reviews as well.

As for the Koni & Ground control combo I've heard a lot of bad stuff & good stuff as well, I just got the megans cause i needed something fast due to my stock struts going out on me, in the future i will consider this combo

thanks for your information

Where have you ever heard anything bad about Koni/GC?

And why on earth would you bother asking us AFTER you bought a cheap suspension setup?

Many members and track car drivers I know have had Koni/GC for over a decade with no issues. Lifetime warranty on the shocks, pick rates suited for your car/driving/race needs.

Edit: Moved to suspension.

Facebook - Where the dumb and dumber get together to agree that 2 plus 2 equals 5.

They probably don't like Koni/GC because they aren't shiny enough.

Of the half-dozen car group pages I'm on on Facebook, it's probably the last place I'd go to for advice. I'm 23 myself, and I would NEVER hold with high regard any advice from anyone very young. I typically ask the 35-50 year old guys who have driven Hondas for decades and have had all kinds of suspension setups over the years.

I like the people who say that the Koni/GC setup is "inferior" because it is not a "full body coilover"

This, finally a younger guy who doesn't think he knows everything. You said it perfectly Lib. I am 33 and have probably been through 25-30 different suspension setups. Koni/Gc is one of the tops, the Progress CsII's were pretty good. (All for DD of course).

Koni/GC isn't exactly inexpensive when you look just at cost, BUT for the money you spend compared to the $1200 setups, it's very cheap for a high performance setup.

what i would do, OP, is try to get a refund. if you cannot, accept the coilovers and sell them to a JDM fanboy on craigslist for $50 less than you paid SHIPPED. you may just have to bite the bullet on this one.

Function & Form and Koni/GC are the only two setups i'd run.. with the exception of Buddy Club and Tein.

I can agree with that, my old D2's were awesome to look at, you get that gitty feeling when you first open them, install them and then look at them through your wheel.
