My Civic Restoration/build in progress (Pics)
Hello Guys. I am redoing the interior of my 96 Civic. I decided to replace the old racing seats with new seats, remove the old dirty carpet and put down some CTR red carpet. Replace the Radio bezel and console with some new used parts. Back in 2002 I had a Nitrous kit installed in the rear of my console. I also hacked up the cup holder area of the console to install stereo equipment. I found one on HT and bought it. Props to Whytey and Fibercation for selling those parts at such a great price. Well I have a lot of plans for the Civic. Going to purchase some Door Panels next. Wish I could find some Type R manual panels, but I bet they will be hard to find. Mine are broken and have a hole or two drilled in them from past Stereo installations. Well I will post better pictures of my car once I wash and wax it Saturday. Hopefully I can get the rest of the carpet in today along with the plastic and new seats. Hope you guys like the pictures. Tell me what you think. Thanks. zaxfire69

Yes. I believe that the original color was Dark grey. I picked this one up not realizing that there was a dark and a light grey. Doesn't really matter to me. Not going to be a show car just a daily driver. Even with the Light gray it looks better than before for sure.. New exhaust will ordered soon.

I got the carpet at Stockinteriors.com. Like 150 bucks. It required little trimming. I like it. Got my two seats in tonight. Think I might Krylon Fusion the Center Console Black when the new Shift boot I ordered comes in. I think black would look better than the Light grey on dark grey. Here is another picture after the front panels and seats are in.

Not too shabby. As for the red carpet......uhhmmm, I would pass. That "CIVIC TYPE R" style has never impressed me.

I have heard so so things about the Fusion paint, the best interior paint is SEM (sp) something like that they sell it at body supply paint stores.
By the way are those new seats? what kind? Do you have a full pic of the seats, they look nice.

Here is a picture of the seat.
I'll have to look into that paint motegicivic. I want a hard paint that will resist scratches. I am picking up an entire set of plastics for the interior Wednesday. I can't wait to have all dark grey plastic with the exception of the black console. ALSO..is there a car that I could possibly Find a Black rear seat setup to fit mine? I would love to have one of those Red Rear seat setups, but I hear they are rare.
