Engine dies after reaching Rev limit!
Hello H-T
need help on something, My Engine shuts off while running after reaching my rev limit ( 7.5k rpm) but seems to be ok after i turned it on.
No cell on ecu, and my ecu was just recently tuned

But you MIGHT need to provide more information about your setup before anybody can.

oh sorry about that...
im running on a d16y7 or y8 vtec-e, all stock engine, recently chrome tuned, rev limit was set to 7.5k rpm

Not sure if I'm understanding u rite but u said u have the rev limiter at 75rpm and it cuts off after u pass it.......could be that the person who tuned ur ecu left the rev limiter on ur car cuts off as a safety measure so u don't blow ur motor its probably ur ignition cut off just change ur cut off limiter to a higher point
