seat belt chime
I just brought a 91 honda accord lx and i have a problem. the seatbelt chime won't turn off. i use the seat belt and the center one and it won't stop chiming. And yes i did search and the dome light does turn out when the door is closed. anyone know how to disable the chime or know where to look for a fix? when I open and close the door the seat belt do work full just the chime doesn't turn off and the light won't stop blinking.

Re: seat belt chime
You can. Remove the screw to the button on the door jam. Then pull the wire from the button switch. I tapped my wire to the switch for easy re-connection.
you can access the box under the dash. I haven't tried this method yet.
The chime is located inside a black box with 10mm screws evidently. I would check if the other audible notifications are through the same buzzer if that is important to you.
Hope that helps. Your not the only one chillin' like that.
Many pannels are on the side. This is the only one I could find.
