99 acura 2.3cl timing belt help

99 acura 2.3cl timing belt help
I have a 99 2.3 cl. I just took it to get the timing belts replace and the pully, car was running smooth before, after it got changed car started to vibrates too much, does the car needs to be timed again

Take it back where you got the work done and ask them to fix the problem. If it has to do with the belt job they shouldn't charge you anything.
Just out of curiosity, where did you take it to get the work done? Is it a place that normally works on a lot of Honda/Acura vehicles? Not that it should really matter if they have good knowledgeable mechanics.

I took it to jersey city, and i talk to the mechanic and he'll be coming to check the car at my house. One thing i noticed when he was putting the botton belt , was that the oil pump mark on the teeth was pointing up and the rear balancer mark was also pointing up. Is that how is supposed to be time?

Yes i see that. i saw the mark on the oil pump housing facing right towards the rear balancer shaft.Will that cause any big damage?

Damage, not right away. Shaking engine "vibrations", Yes.
Having your balance shaft out of alignment will cause the vibrations that it is made to chancel out, even more pronounced. Over a long period of time it could cause some extra strain on bearings and the oil pump if it vibrates too much.

I got my car back today and told the mechanic to align the oil pump housing with the engine block and align the rear balancer through the maintenace hole, car now runs good,no more vibrations....thanks for the advice
