I drove the car to lunch and came out to start the car and it did not crank at all. When I turned the key on everything worked but the car did not want to turn over. Luckily I was on a incline so I was able to pop start. Could this be a relay?

Definetely not the battery, but I did just have to replace the plastic piece for my brakes so that may it.

Buy a new stopper or hot glue a coin over the hole.

It seems very difficult to try and even get up in there. I have a stopper that I use that fits perfect it's just a matter of getting up in there.

Pull the seat back and get on your back. Easy. Getting back up. Not so easy.

God, that was such a bitch to work on. I rigged the shlt out of it with 3 zip ties. Let's see how long this holds up.

I just repaired my 94 Del Sol today. Civic should be similar. It wasn't that bad. I got the pedal stopper from the Honda dealer for 50 cents a piece. I have now replaced all 3 (1 that controls starter signal, 1 that controls cruise control & the brake light). By far this was the worst one. Tried to get to it without pulling the clutch pedal assembly, but I couldn't get to it with my finger. I ended up pulling clutch pedal assembly. Took me about 2 hours being an Old man of 52. Laying on your back is a pain.
Now, for how I did it.
First thing remove the driver's seat and then the plastic kick panel under the steering wheel. Then remove the cotter pin and 1/4" pin holding clevis on the clutch master cylinder. Remove the 2 nuts with a 12mm socket that hold the clutch master cylinder to firewall and push it back into engine compartment. The one you can't see, I removed with a 1/4" socket set/12mm. Next thing is to remove Upper bolt above clutch switches. You have to strain to see it, but it can be removed with a 12mm socket and long extension. When it drops down, disconnect the two plugs on the switches & remove from car. You will see the hole where the stopper needs to be installed. If you have any more questions, you can email me at teddyg@***.net I will post pictures as soon as I figure it out.
