So i was doing a little research today and i found something called a Toe Shim Kit. I have never hear anything at all of these things.....or how it works. When i went in for my alignment i was told that my toe was still a degree negative and reach its farthest adjustment, and ive went through 3 sets of rear tires in the last 30 days......

just looking for a little advice, options, alternatives.....anything

You can get the shims or just make it easy and get adjustable rear toe links, a couple of companies make some, I have the megan ones which have been good for the past 4 years. I do my own alignments and they make it really easy to adjust, makes it like adjusting the front and allows for much more range of adjustment.

i've seen those....so they do increase the range of adjustment, and how do they hold up...they look thin...you know anyone who uses them or have you?

I said I've had them for 4 years and the bushings are in great shape, seen others use them. Only time I heard of one failing was someone on PO.com who hit a huge pothole that would bend the factory toe arm no problem.

so im guessing they are able to adjust both negative and positive right...if so, im ordering mines today

Yes, I adjusted my car myself at the dealer where I work, alignment is within stock specs since it's a daily driven car, I have no adverse tire wear whatsoever.

Turning #31/33 is how toe is set on the rear. The most common issue with setting toe on the rear is the bolt (#31) gets seized inside of #25, and cannot be turned to set toe. If this is the case for you then you will need to replace #31, #33, #57, and #24 RH or #27 LH (if you cannot torch the bolt (#31) and buy a new #25 & #31). If the #31 bolt does turn and it needs to be adjusted farther then the bolt can adjust, then most likely you have a bent suspension part in the rear (possibly the toe arm itself #24 RH & #27 LH).
