Default 94 Civic - Head Gasket Blown?

Okay so I have had 3 mechanics telling me my head gasket is blown. They all want to charge me a thousand dollars+. My friend said that it isnt that hard to replace, but I want to know for sure. I am not a mechanic this is for sure but I have done some very minor installations on a car before. I wanted to see if there is any guides on how to replace the head gasket step by step in a 94 honda civic EX? And if I am careful, will this be something I could do without problem? TIPS very welcomed.

ALSO, there is OIL in my radiator, I'm wondering if this is the head gaskets fault? Ive tried replacing all coolant hoses as well as the radiator, and oil still getting in. This is why everyone keeps telling me the head gasket is blown.

One last question. If I am going to attempt to do this head gasket change, would it matter if i have tried a concentrated sealant for the head gasket? because it didnt seem to work (obviously) and I am wondering if this will ruin my new head gasket I put in.

Oil in radiator is headgasket or cracked block. Sealants have nothing to do with the headgasket because it's not that kind of gasket.

You can do it but it depends on your skills and ability to follow directions.

if it is bad enough t have oil in the coolant then you will have to have the surface of the head and block checked. they may need to be resurfaced. i personally have sourced motors and installed them for 750. i can have the head off if a single cam in about 15 minutes. you dont have to remove the cam. just loosen the tensioner for the timing belt, remove the radiator hose and the coolant hose going from he intake to the block. mind all wiring.
