hey there I have a 00 civic si shell that will be my project as soon as I graduate in a month and was wondering if anyone has done the rhd swap in this years civic, and where could i purchase the type r front clip I have been searching the last few days for answers to my ?s and cant come up with anything. thanks guys. any links to some will be appreciated.

i know im looking for an ek9 front clip but are they just super rare and hard to find is that why im having a hard time finding them and also would the sir be easier to locate ?

I would not recommend doing a "conversion." Personally I think they merely make your car inconvenient, but to each their own.

If you really want a RHD car I would buy one that came that way. It's very doable to find one in your region. If it's a bit far away, fly there and drive it back.

I've seen 4-6 over the last few months just here in the southeast. Surely if you live anywhere with a bigger scene than here you can find more than I did.

ya im sure i can find them just bought this car for a g and its super clean except it has a bad tittle because its been stolen a few times, so currently the guy that had it before me swapped a single cam into it so I want to strip it down and covert it with an h series or if I can get the front clip with motor than do a full swap before i paint it. its just something for me to test myself, not just cause i want a rhd car, just been into them and dont feel as bad cutting into this one

thanks guys the one to that link i talked to the dude and he wants 7500 with the motor so chances are im purchasing it with out

If you're going to do a conversion just be sure you change out the firewall and the whole front clip as well. That's about the only way I'd be comfortable driving the car.

why would i have to swap out the front clip ? couldnt i just do it by swapping firewalls ? and cross member ?

You can just swap the firewall, and subframe if you want.

That's how a lot of people do it.
