D16Y7 VTEC ?
once again guys i have the D16Y7.... i hear i can make it Vtec.... what car does the Vtec head i need come from ?? and is it a direct fit to the D16 block ?

okay i searched mini me. even though i knew about it lol thats kinda what i was leading to .. also did some side research for which head to use and the D16Y8 seems better.... and i know this sound like im retarded for asking but no harm in making sure.... you never know lol but does the D16Y8 head bolt directly onto the D16Y7.... i know it does but is there anything i should be aware of before doing so ?

i personally think the z6 head is better. when boosting its easier to tune. y8 head raises compression and does not like alot of advanced timing. its all in preference which one u like. you can run a p28 and a jumper harness or run a p2p civic ex ecu,knock sensor,and you will need to wire vtec on both ecus. many of mini me write ups just search google.
