Fuel Cutting out at 4000 RPM
Fuel cutting out at 4000 rpm
Car is a 2002 acura rsx, automatic transmission.
Problem is when I put my foot down on the gas to accelerate hard it cuts out at 4000rpm and starts bouncing at 4000 rpm.
I noticed today that a sensor was disconnected near my throttle bottle. Can anyone tell me if this is the reason for the cut out at 4000 rpm. Please refer to the drawing below.

Most times, 4000 red line "limp mode", is your oil level ok? Do you have a cel?

It makes me sad to think there are people out there that would let their oil get low enough that the engine says "f you" and puts it in limp mode.
