Default Door needs adjusting inward??

I recently bought my ek hatch and was noticing that the drivers door sits outward from the body in the back.. I know the doors where replaced by the previous owner with coupe doors so that he could do the power window conversion. Anyways ive searched and have come up with nothing. I looked at the door striker and they are not adjustable. Any ideas on how to go about adjusting this?

I would try moving the latch on the door jamb inwards.

Ive already looked at that. But like i said it doesnt adjust its fixed in there. The plate where it scews into the jam has indentations where the screws seat into there.. Im at a loss i kno i should just take it to a body shop but id like to know whats all entailed in adjusting it so i dont get screwed over in labor.

you have to adjust the 4 bolts holding the door on, you have to take the fender off, take the bottom skid skirt off and adjust it.

it helps if you take the door latch completely off adjust the door, then put the latch back on and get it situated. It really helps if you have 2 people, doors aren't light.

Good luck

You can also switch the countersunk screws that hold the latches to button head bolts and get some adjustment, just watch out for clearance with the bolt heads when the door closes.

Are you refering to the hinges or the striker screws?

The striker screws and the latch screws on the door (not the hinges).
