Default 91 si intake manifold

im doing a mpfi swap on my 91 civic dx and had a few questions;
does anybody know where i can find the vac hose diagram for the si intake mani?
do i need a si distributor or can i just use the one i have?
do i need a si throttle body cable or can i re use the one i have?
sorry if these answers have been asked i tried searching but i cant seem to get the answers im looking for.

you need the distributor from 88-91 CRX Si or HF, 88-91 Civic Si or EX - can't use the DPFI distributor

although it looks a little cleaner to use the Si throttle cable, you don't have to use it - you can use the DX cable by just looping it out around the strut tower

dont reuse ur dx cable just get a si one there cheap

thanks quick question.. if i decide to keep the dx distributor would the car still function the reason why im hesitating in getting the si distributor is because im not keeping this motor im just trying to get the wiring done and get it 100% running right for when i drop my b20 in...

No you cannot use the DPFI distributor. The DPFI distributor does not have some of the sensor the MPFI ECU needs for the car to operate properly.

does anybody else know if this will work? again all i want to do is make sure the wiring is done right and everything will function correct when i drop the new motor im not keeping the d16 and im not using this as my daily driver so that is why im trying to avoid ditching 120 up for a si dizzy...

How do you do that?
You can't just swap plugs.. it won't work. The reluctor wheel in the dizzy has a different tooth count and will send the ECU the wrong signal.

thanks for letting me know that..

does anybody know how i can tell is a dizzy is from an 91 si or not im trying to buy one of someone but hes not sure if its off a si or not and cant find the stamp code td02u on it, can you tell by the electrical pins in the plug or something??

it will be stamped with either td-02u or td-18u on one of the metal arms...!!!

he cant find it, its not on the legs he cleaned it and couldnt find the stamp it must have just fadded with time..

td-o1u-will have a small square clip

td-02u & td-18u-will have a bigger round clip
