Default Integra power antenna

I have a pioneer Deh-6000ub but I dont know where to connect the power antenna wire to. The Pioneer harness only has a blue/white wire(System Remote Control). No solid blue wire for power antenna signal.

I only want the antenna to stay up when I listen to the radio occasionally but not up when listening to a cd or ipod. I had a Alpine cde-7858 and it had a power antenna wire and the antenna would only come up if the radio was on. Is there any way I can wire it to do the same with the pioneer?

It should work and bring up the antenna when the car is switched on.
Give it a shot.

the remote sends 12v when the head unit is on. the power antenna typically only outputs when the am/fm tuner is on. switch to cd or USB and the power antenna wire stops working

yes, but the antenna will be up whenever the radio is on. you're just gonna have to deal with that.

I had a Pioneer head unit and it was wired so it would only come on when the radio was on. That is how I wanted it. I now have a different integra and a Sony Head unit. It now is wired on so the Power Antenna comes up whenever the radio is powered on. LAME.

Anyone know how to wire it so it comes on when I switch the radio on?

Use the system remote control lead, blue/white, connect to 1A on/off switch and connect power ant. control lead, [ant. side] to other side of switch, then you can keep ant. down when not using the radio. or get a HU with an ant. control output lead, only two ways I can think of doing it other then paying a technician to add an ant. control output lead to the HU you have, [probably cost more then to replace the HU]. 94

Like fcm said.. and it really depends on the line of Pioneer... the higher ends tend to have both a P Ant and a Remote turn-on.
