Yonaka WS2 Catback Exhaust Review
So, for Christmas I had asked my girl for 1 thing, and she asked for...the world, but I didnt really mind to much. But my 95 Integra LS needed to breath a little more especially with the restrictive setup on the turbo I needed MOAR power. So I showed her the link on ebay and she purchased me the Yonaka WS2 replica full catback exhaust. The link to the website is below, but you can find it on ebay for around 250 shipped or cheaper.
http://www.yonaka.com/Yonaka_94_01_I..._p/ymcb002.htm
First Impression - Opened the box and ripped off the medium quality packing and this thing was BLINGING! Straight shine yada yada. Nice material the welds could be cleaner but its put together well for sure, and its all real good quality stainless steel. No nicks dents nothin, so I was happy.
So I decided in the morning I would setup shop and get ready for the install!
The Install - Ran into an issue on my stock exhaust 2 bolts were rusted through so we needed to blow them out with a torch so had to call up my buddy, but when that was done the actual install went like this.
From the cat....I recommened u upgrade your cat, because the hardware they give you dont fit, SO buy one of those ebay test pipes, or go buy some hardware thats not as thick to fit through both threads and bolt er up, besides that it was fine. The rest of the fitment was near perfect the hanger behind the muffler was a little high so we had to bend it a hair.
Biggest Issue, the alignment of the axel back section to the piping was a little off so my buddy had to kind of turn the muffler as i threaded one bolt through and once again i used 1 of my own thinner bolts because it didnt line up just perfect so it needed a thinner bolt to fit. After that everything ligned up MINT.
Fitment - After a little tweaking it sat PERFECT, it was about a finger gap away from the bumper maybe a little more ( post pics in A.M.) and it sat right in the center of the bumper groove!
First Startup - The tone was DeeEEeeeeEEEpppp! and soft! go figure. NO rice status at all, my neighbor came out side who is an avid domestic guy, and he was impressed, he said "nate this doesnt sound like some weed wack bullshit" we shared a laugh and i let him rev it up so i could hear it from the outside. OH MY GG sounded amazing, it was deep, no rattle, ahh amazing loved it! Ill figure out how to post a sound clip.
First Drive - In car nice and quiet unless i romp on it, daily driving its a tad bit louder then stock just deeper thats why, only when u get on it did it get louder.
Final Pro's and Con's
Con's - got to tweak the fitment, only took honestly an extra 15 minutes, if exhuast shop installs, for 75 bucks your prob GOLDEN.
Weld's are thick but im just picky.
Pro's - Sound tone, Weight, Price, Quality, Fitment after minor tweaks PERFECT, honestly very little bad to say.
Final Statement - I romped on it all day today and only got good reactions, daily driving didnt **** off my mom when we went to visit my grandmother, overall INCREDIBLE pickup, if it wasnt a gift, I woulda bought it myself NO questions asked.
Ill post more pics and a soundclip if i can, its 1 am now, so ill do **** in the am! 1

Yes, so this morning i woke up and took some ripper vids....lmao but no i took some good videos and more pictures because last night's post was at like 1 in the morning and i couldnt keep my eyes open. So here are more pictures and videos. Also yes the exhuaust has a resonator, but it doesnt seem to have any glass packing, or any metal packing in the resonator because it was light as hell in the resanator section. Im apologizing now for video and pic quality it was all done on my iphone while i was driving. I love this thing u cant hear it unless im rippin on it its just like an apex-i ws2 just half the price haha.
Video of me quickly showing how it sounds at a warm idle, sry its quick it was raining, and the rev was with the door WIDE open.

Re: Yonaka WS2 Catback Exhaust Review
Just stumbled across this...
I sent the company an email about selling the muffler or rear-section separately as well as some dimensions and internals.
I have been wanting an actual ws2 forever but cannot justify the pricing... This seems promising.

Re: Yonaka WS2 Catback Exhaust Review
i have one on my eh2 with a built B20 VTEC with an adjustable test pipe. I am highly considering buying one for my Teg. Although it is a bit louder than I expected it to be, I am not going to complain. The only thing that really pissed me off was the HORRIBLE hardware they included with the exhaust. A trip to the local hardware store solved this problem.

Re: Yonaka WS2 Catback Exhaust Review
Sounds pretty good. I was just on their site and I'm sad to see that they dont have one for a DA. WOuld the one for the 88-91 civic hatch fit on a DA?

Re: Yonaka WS2 Catback Exhaust Review
no they are the correct diameter/ size but they are a b*tch to tighten. its alsmost like they gave you a fine thread bolt with a coarse thread nut? then once you tighten them they DO NOT want to come back apart. i had to gring mine off

Re: Yonaka WS2 Catback Exhaust Review
i got mine to sit up nice and high on my hatch. i used the rubber hanger mounts from the middle section on the back (because they are smaller and more stiff), and then instead of putting the hangers on the bottom hole i used the middle section
