Default 95 Civic EX - Fuses for cluster lights and gauges keep blowing!

I have a 1995 civic ex, yesterday I was driving home and suddenly the baklight
on my dash went off, I have some reverse glow gauges, I have had them for 1 year
now so at first I thought they were the problem, then suddenly the gauges
just died, my rpm, mph, gas, and temp. So i read some post on honda-tech and
they told me it was a fuse, so yes I replaced two fuses, and everything got back
up. The problem is that I just drove 20 min and pumm lights go out, and then after
5 min pum there go the gauges. I did this 3 times already, and they keep blowing.
this is the first time this happen to me. I dont wanna get pulled over, cuz once
the fuse for the gauges blows the taillights dont work. What could be causing
this? Let me know any ideas

Your glow gauges are the prime suspects.

If you unplug the dimmer switch, does this prevent fuse 19 and also fuse 15 from blowing?

I will have to try that, do I just plug it out? I got the 12v and ground for the gauges from the cables that go to the stock bulbs. Does that has to do something with this?

Yes, just unplug it.

The lights and gauges are on the same circuit? Fix that. The lights should be on the fuse 19/dimmer switch circuit and the gauges on the fuse 15 circuit.

no I think I dindnt explain myself. When I installed the glow gauges, I cut the two wires that light up the old yellow bulbs on the dashboard. so the dimmer right now has no function. I connected the glow gauges to those two cables, that's why I was asking if that has something to do with it.

The two wires you cut are on the fuse 19/dimmer switch/taillights circuit. If they are exposed and shorting to ground, that could be part of the problem.

What fuse circuit are the glow gauges wired into?

Well actually when I installed the glow gauges I took all the cluster apart and cut the wires near the cluster, the ones that power the bakclight bulbs. Thanks man for helping me with this...Should I take the cluster off to check for any loose wire? Also if there was a wire making ground, could that be blowing the two fuses?

That's precisely what causes a fuse to blow - grounding of a power wire.

Default 95 civic ex- gauges and taillight fuses keep blowing

The fuses for my gauges and the backup light light keep blowing but yesterday I found that when I put my left turn signal the dash clock goes off and my rpms drop to almost like 50 and the little arrow on the dash doesn't light up and then the fuses blow. When I put the right turn signal is ok the problem happens with the left one

Unplug the cluster and check whether the fuses no longer blow. If so, you may need to replace your cluster.
