when you say you put a brand new brake light switch did you mean the the one under the brake padal? if so, it might just b an electrical problem mine had the same problem and switch the brake switch that was under my brake pedal and everything worked again

wow this is exactly whats happening to me right now. it all started from my cluster needles all droping down with the actual cluster still lighting up. so i read up on that and it came out to be that the reverse wires that come out on the trans grounded out and my reverse lights didnt work nor the cluster. now i replaced the fuse and before i even messed with it ive noticed that my brake lights do not work, now i know that the fuse box under the hood has a fuse for horn, brake system etc which is right next to the hazard lights fuze which i believe is a 10a and the horn/brake system is a 20a or reversed... so i checked both fuses and nothing stil. after bypassing the reverse wire clip that comes out of the trans and replacing the blown fuse still nothing.i believe the reverse lights and the cluster not working before dont have anything to do with my brake lights but if the horn fuse does than wjo knows? and just to make everything clear that reverse light/cluster needle problem
is fixed which is the reason y i dont think it has sumthing to do with the breaklights. one last thing to check is the brake light switch which im guessin is located to on the brake pedal.
by the way its a 97 integra ls.and quick question where is this brakelight switch? is ot a blue clip that clips onto a bigger white clip on the top of the brale pedal?
