Default need some help with bolt torque specs on waterpump

Hey

I have a prelude 4th gen from 1993 a h22a2 engine VTEC.

To make a long story short..
This Monday I parked my car at my local shop to get a timing belt changed and balance belt + water pump and all that stuff. I got it back in the evening and i felt like something was wrong, it was shaking a bit. I was to deliver it the day after because of the shaking. But when I turned it on in the morning it made some serious weird sounds ! :s I turned it off immediately.
I called my dad, he's got an auto trailer, so back to the shop with my car

Then today he opened it, and called me and he told me some bolt at the water pump was broke. I was like wtf!
Heres a picture on the water pump of what's gone wrong..

Sorry for the bad quality.. Taken with my phone

But as you see, my best guess of this happening is over torqued.. Though he told me he torqued it after specs.. I dont know if thats true
I cant find it in my manual, can anyone of you help me with this? How many kg / nm should this bolt be tightened with?

Another picture.

yea we do have American cars here in Denmark hehe Its a 6.5l turbo diesel

Anyways I hope some of you guys can help me.

Kind regards Rasmus

auto-tensioner?

It looks like it might have been a casting flaw in the metal which failed and the tensioner idler pulley crapped out.

I would attribute that to part failure out of the box. was it a honda part?

it was an oem water pump.
But again, how many kg/nm would you tighten this bolt with?
I've asked the same question on prelude power

This is the threat im talking about. Its aluminum.

Sorry to the owner of these pictures.

If im not mistaking he told me he torqued it with either 2.5kg/25nm or 4.5kg/45nm I believe that it only should have been 1.2kg/12nm.

But im not sure ? Thing is, hes gonna pay for another pump if he over torqued it and thats why it failed.

I would take the opportunity to install a manual tensioner. It doesn't use that bolt anyway.

Always consult your Helm's manual.

Thanks for your replies.
Kronn I dont think its any of those on that picture? Those bolts there are just for mounting it on to the block? That specific bolt im looking for arent there
But all the bolts I can see that goes into the water pump is 1.2kg/12nm/9lb-ft

To me, it looks like one of the 5 screws on the far left.

Those 5 are just for mounting it to the block?
The bolt im after is holding some bearing thingie Im not sure how to say it on English.
So I think we need to get a step further out from the water pump, if you can follow me.

Its the bolt that locks tension on the timing belt doesn't it? So you can take the tensioner off but it will keep the belt in place.

Did you get a new autotensioner? I'm thinking it could have failed and then that part that would keep tension when the bolt gets backed out could have gone back and forth and broke that piece off.
