Default Progress Coilovers?

Alright so i've been thinking about maybe getting some Progress coilovers.

The problem is i can't seem to find any decent reviews of them. Anyone know anything about them?!

Thanks!

There should be reviews everywhere, but i think they are in old Sprot Compact Car magazines. I have some and they are quite good. I personally could go a little stiffer, but the car still holds its ground very well. If I were to get new coilovers I'd get progress again but replace the rear springs to a siffer spring.

Isn't the spring rate in the back 650lbs/in? Isn't that quite stiff?

i have progress and they are probably the best all around/bang for the buck coil in my opinion. i have a set of custom springs also 10.5k front and 13k rear also shorter...so 650 is not that stiff lol. stock those coils ride amazing. ask jdmem2 also he is on almost the same setup.

Yeah, if it wasen't for homelessem2 my car wouldn't be driving wonderful today, Probably next week im getting his setup and hes getting mine. I love progress in general there such a good company and if what the cause may be the strut blows out (which is very rare on progress) there are inexpensive to fix, thats another plus about them.

Also you might what to think getting extended top hats for the rears Homeless did mine for me for like about 75$ there worth every penny, say whoever is trying to go low, its not as harsh on the struts and springs more travel space is there if needed. hope i could help guys.

K-sport are the only ones i know, and leon has them. as he says they work pretty good. you can adjust your camber and what not just a spin of a bolt.

Yeah he has the camber plates, I never seen actual extended strut towers for the em2 for the fronts, Unless i haven't been looking hard enough.

i think there would be clearance issues but you could cut holes in the hood.

you'd have to trim the hood if you had extended front tophats.
hotchkis plates provide a little more travel.

You really don't need extended top hats if you get stiffer springs. Thats what im getting from homeless,

Homeless makes rear extended top hats too. I can vouche for that he did mine they came out really good to him.

Call Joey, tell him Ryan Smith (rota92) sent you, check out Ryans car on their Team page. Ryan did a lot of research with other companies before he decided to go with Progress. Ryan spent many hours talking with Ed who took the time to teach Ryan what he needed to know about getting the set up right. No other company would take the time to do that.
