Default chrome engine paint

i want to paint my engine chrome. i know i can just use a spray can from an auto store but i dont know if it will last long. what should i go with if i want to paint my engine chrome??

why chrome?!? if you want it chrome get it dipped. but i still dont see how u want it chrome...

There's really no "chrome-in-a-can" that works for high-heat (aka engine) applications. The stuff you see in stores barely works on light-duty trim and what not even with prep work. The only way you can actually get "chrome" on engine parts is to send it out and have it chrome-plated. It's not too cheap, but it will look clean (take care of it though) for years to come....just my 2 cents....
