so i'm not completely sure if this is the correct thread for this issue but i need some help.

this morning when i went to turn on my car (05 honda civic ex sedan) it made a weak starting sound and then a scratching sound and then the engine cut off. when i tried to turn it on a second time, the car actually did end up cutting on although it sounded VERY WEAK.

i drove the car for a couple hours cause i was moving about today and the car itself during the drive was perfectly fine - nothing irregular. but then when i got home i shut it off and tried cutting it on again and the same thing happened. the car didn't cut on and i think this time the scratching sound was even louder. i tried a second time just like the last time though and once again it cut on although it sounded like it barely made it.

WHAT IS GOING ON??? o.O any thoughts?
