Default 310cc injectors??

How much power will these hold exactly?? They're saturated RC injectors. Just wanted to know will they hold enough power for a ~250whp build in an LS motor.

Hmm, what would you recommend as far as pressure? I'll be running a 255HP Walbro fuel pump..

You'd run into 2 major nono's with 310cc injectors. Higher than rated fuel pressure AND duty cycle. You're asking for trouble.

If you want budget injectors look into 450cc(or whatever they are) DSM injectors.

i would have to agree. IF it can do it, you WILL be at the limit.
as cheap as 450(or 440's) i cant remember, can be had, they will also give you a little room to grow.

just cuz those are high impedance doesnt mean theyre saturated guy, all/most aftermarket injectors are gonna be a peak and hold type. Dnt come at me with this **** like a smart ***, I wasnt born yesterday, im just tryin to help this guy out.

ok who is coming at who asking who is a smart ***? i simply asked a question, because maybe i was misinformed.
for the last 10 years i have been doing this,
saturated injectors = high impedence
peak and holds = low

somewhere i guess i git switched up.

do you care to tell me the specific difference between saturated and peak and hold?
im trying to help the guy out also.

i do have a question though, other than the dsm's, why does everyone else use saturated injectors on setups not needing more than 750cc/min?

atleast on my car the extreme psi 680's i had with a resistor box, peak and hold ran like ***. swapped to 750 saturated the car ran fine.

i dont know.

so with that pic, you contradict your self:

first sentence:
peak and hold injectors are low impedence
under saturated:
saturated injectors are generally higher impedence than peak and hold.

which brings me back to how this whole thing got started,
why are saturated injectors not good for turbo setups? you never really answered the question.
thats all im looking for.

http://www.injectordynamics.com/questionsanswered.html

i am really having a hard time seeing as to why a saturated injector is not good for a turbo setup?

fwiw, i am running 1200cc/min peak and hold injectors, i hate them. they idle like crap, they work well at wot and racing the car, but if i were ever to drive it daily, the driveability isnt that great.

if i had the money right now, i would be switching them out for a saturated 1000cc/min id, and the car would have much better idle characteristics.

im done with this thread jack. im just looking for an answer for the original question i posted to you. thats all.

looking more at your pic:
which should i choose?
if you are goin big there wont be a saturated injector for your power level.

WRONG. there is. id 1000's and id 2000's

how is the car wired? most obd0 crx civ and ludes are yes infact wired for p and h, but what about the millions of obd1 civc and tegs?

the third point i can however agree with.

i am done.

bubba, those 2000cc injectors is a lil overkill for what this guy is trying to do. Whos gonna need that much???? nobody. U would have to detune the **** out of em which is not likely possible. good god man, and in the same sense, theyre prob way out of this guys price range. Why pay more, when you can pay less and get the same results. Like I said, dsm 450cc, cant go wrong bro.

^^ agree id like and answer to why peak and hold injectors are a better product for turbo setup?????I agree with boostedcivicsir........I run the id1000cc inejectors and they idle like stock! Plus you run a high impedence injectors such as the id 1k's you dont have to wire in a resistor box!

to the op: your best bet is to try to get some dsm 450's.

No, 310s will be too small unless you bump the fuel pressure up. Its far easier (and better on your pump and injectors) to get a larger set. You can pick up DSM 450s rather cheap or even a set of used RC or PTE 550s. Don't bother too much with the saturated vs P&H injectors...just know which you have so you can wire in a resistor box.
