Default Rim offset and your alignment...how does it change things?

Alright...I've been thinking here about these two things and it's really got me wondering. I have a 2001 Type-R and I have a slew of rims and tires that I run around on, however I was wondering how the different offset and rim width changes your alignment.

Stock rims, 15x6 not sure of the offset, +50mm...running 205-50/15 Falken Azenis
Stock rims, 15x6 not sure of the offset, +50mm...running 205-50/15 Victoracers
Mugen rims...16x7 +43mm...running 215-40/16 Kumho Ecsta 712's

So I get the alignment down with the Azenis on the car, then I daily drive the 712's, and use the Victoracers on the track...what kind of differences will I see in regards to the alignment settings from one rim/tire combination to another?

Thanks,
Austin - who is staying out of header threads

[EDIT]fixed the offset[/EDIT]

im wondering the same thing... hopefully there will be some good input on this subject.

i'm wondering if using 13 inch steelies to get the car aligned with, then using 15 inch 32 offset rims will affect the alignment.

thanks,
Anthony

Your stockers are 50mm offset.

Alignment (toe in/out, camber etc) shouldn't change as long as you are using similar sized rims (i.e. 15") and tires - but your scrub radius will change a bit when using the +43mm offset Mugens (14mm wider track).

Alignment changes more when you raise/lower the car - vs widening track width.

Aha...thanks, that gives a little better understanding into it...also explains why the car is very darty, other than the alignment.

If your car is too "darty" - have the alignment checked again.
